Dieses Reel fällt mir sehr schwer. Bzw. natürlich nicht das Reel, aber die Entscheidungen dahinter. Um es einfach kurz zu machen: Sugar wird nochmal umziehen. Zu mir, in meinen Studienort. Ich war zwar unfassbar glücklich mit unserem jetzigen Stall, und es ist nach wie vor eine traumhafte Anlage, aber leider ist es nicht für Sugar geeignet. Sie hat sich auf den Paddocks jetzt so oft schwer verletzt und einfach keinen Anschluss an die anderen Pferde gefunden. Wir haben echt alles versucht, und sind vor zwei Wochen zu dem traurigen Schluss gekommen, dass wir jetzt alle Möglichkeiten ausgeschöpft haben, und ich an einem Punkt war, wo mir das Risiko für weitere Verletzungen einfach zu hoch war. Ich möchte auch gar nicht ins Detail gehen, aber es war nicht witzig und Sugar hatte wohl ein Dutzend Schutzengel an ihrer Seite. Und Einzelhaltung ist natürlich keine Dauerlösung. Also heißt es traurigerweise Ende des Monats Koffer packen. Ich hoffe einfach, das dann alles mal ein bisschen entspannter wird. Das einzig positive ist, dass ich sie dann wieder näher bei mir habe.
Trotzdem bin ich wirklich, wirklich traurig.
